Clinical Detoxification
Clinical Detoxification
Clinical detoxification is an effective strategy aimed at lowering the cumulative burden of toxins that can potentially overwhelm the body’s natural cleansing systems.
Toxins that challenge the human body are broadly classified as inorganic toxins like heavy metals; organic toxins such as pesticides and solvents; and biological toxins stemming from allergies or low-grade hidden infections. Persistent infections, until naturally resolved or treated, can act as a toxic focus contributing to chronic disease states. This increased, continuous burden on the system can feel generally fatiguing, effectively draining the available energy reserves a patient has for healing and daily function.
Our detoxification program follows three-step process. First is intracellular mobilisation, the internal “deep spring cleaning” phase where toxins stored in tissues are safely made ready for transport. Second is excretion and drainage to ensure the “garbage pickup is operating.” The third vital step is preventing reabsorption of toxins.
Clinical detoxification is one of the fundamental ways to support the body’s natural healing ability and restorative health mechanisms.
